About
Over 35 years of experience
Located on Iceland’s Ring Road, about 370 km (230 miles) east of Reykjavík, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is one of the country’s most remarkable natural wonders. Formed by the retreat of Breiðamerkurjökull, an outlet glacier of Vatnajökull, the lagoon continues to grow as icebergs break away from the glacier and drift towards the Atlantic Ocean.
The lagoon is connected to the ocean, and is influenced by the tides, creating a constantly changing landscape of floating ice. Reaching depths of up to 284 meters, Jökulsárlón is Iceland’s deepest lake.
For more than 35 years, we have shared this extraordinary place with visitors from around the world, offering unforgettable boat tours among ancient icebergs, breathtaking glacier views, and the chance to spot seals in their natural habitat.
